Saudi Students in the U.S.
SUSRIS is pleased to support the efforts of the Tennessee World Affairs Council, the Saudi Students Club of Tennessee Tech University, in Cookeville, Tennessee and a host of other partners who are working to build bridges between Americans and Saudis in the “Volunteer State” through an outreach program. The project will include an International Night dinner in association with the Cookeville Breakfast Rotary Club (January 29, 2011), visits to schools and civic organizations, and other opportunities to make connections.
SUSRIS, which is based in Tennessee, will provide reports here to keep you abreast of the student outreach project.
We would also like to invite you to visit the web site of the Tennessee World Affairs Council, the principal organizer of the student outreach effort. They are actively seeking contributors who can help to offset the expenses of mounting this innovative effort to strengthen the ties between Americans and Saudi Arabians. The Council is a non profit (501c3) educational charity, and a member of the World Affairs Councils of America, that seeks to bring global awareness education programs to communities and schools in Tennessee.
